A Memorial Day Tribute…Zinnias For Remembrance

I planted zinnias for loved ones today,

in shades of pink and fuchsia and yellow,

in earth warmed by spring sun,

softened by tears and April rains.

I planted zinnias today and marigolds,

in gold and Tuscan orange,

seeds to grow and remind us,

springs rebirth follows winters darkness.

I planted zinnias and marigolds today,

for parents, for siblings,

for friends, gone too soon,

for my husband, my soul mate.

I planted life today

for all of us they left behind,

who will love, protect and nurture each other,

as we remember,

as we always remember.

  1. I wish to express some thanks to the writer just for rescuing me from this type of difficulty. Right after exploring through the world-wide-web and finding views which are not productive, I figured my life was gone. Being alive devoid of the approaches to the issues you’ve resolved through your entire guideline is a critical case, and those which might have negatively damaged my career if I hadn’t come across the blog. Your own personal natural talent and kindness in handling every aspect was very helpful. I am not sure what I would’ve done if I hadn’t come upon such a subject like this. I’m able to at this time look ahead to my future. Thanks a lot very much for your skilled and result oriented guide. I won’t hesitate to endorse the blog to anybody who needs to have direction about this subject matter.
